As mentioned many of my maritime projects involve the use of real-time, usually full mission simulators. I regularly work together with MSCN/MARIN in Wageningen, the Netherlands, because of their unsurpassed mathematical ship manoeuvring models. However, I have also worked with TNO Soesterberg, MSR in Rotterdam and the former SUSAN in Hamburg. Projects with MSCN involve a great many ports and terminals all over the world with all sorts of vessels, including cruise vessels and submarines. However also inland navigation, offshore (e.g. FPSO’s), towage and ASD tug training. A particular interesting project are the new-buildings for the Meyer Werft.
